Traffic and Parking Updates

  • Several projects during the 2017-18 years will affect traffic and parking on and around campus.

Dorothy Lane is closed from Campus Drive to West Corydon Street for a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation project to replace the bridge that crosses the Tunungwant Creek. PennDOT is also widening and adding sidewalks to the road and adding lighting, making it safer for pedestrians.

The Dorothy Lane parking lots of Blaisdell Hall and the Hangar Building have been reopened. Pedestrians can cross Dorothy Lane, using the areas identified.

    Trails and crosswalks remain open.

In addition, the university is constructing a new 178-bed residence hall and expanding the dining facility in the Frame-Westerberg Commons. No-parking areas will be fenced off.
