Pitt-Bradford will hold a Health Careers Job Fair Feb. 6 on campus.
Representatives of 16 organizations will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Mukaiyama University Room in the Frame-Westerberg Commons. The fair is open to students and alumni of all majors. Attendees are encouraged to bring copies of their resume and dress in business attire.
Attendees can learn about summer, part-time and full-time employment as well as internship and volunteer opportunities from area hospitals, medical centers, nursing homes, mental health, rehabilitation and social service organizations.
Agencies expected to participate are, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services Inc., Bradford Ecumenical Home, Bradford Manor, Bradford Regional Medical Center, BRMC Behavioral Health Services, Care Unlimited Inc., Cole Memorial, The Guidance Center, Journey Health System/Beacon Light Behavioral Health Systems, Olean (N.Y.) General Hospital, Penn Highlands Healthcare, Phoenix Rehabilitation and Health Services Inc., PSA Health, Inc., The ReHabilitation Center, Sena-Kean Manor and Warren General Hospital.
The fair is sponsored by the Office of Career Services, department of nursing and Student Nurse Organization. This is the 14th year Pitt-Bradford has held a career fair specifically for health professions. The event is free and open to the public.
