The Division of Continuing Education will hold a class on Chinese paper cutting for adult and youth from 6 to 8 p.m. March 28.
The workshop will take place in the fourth floor art room of Marilyn Horne Hall at 2 Marilyn Horne Way in Bradford. The cost is $29 per participant and includes materials.
The making of paper cuts is a popular folk art with a history of more than 2,000 years in China. In the hands of an artisan, a piece of colored paper can be turned into a wide variety of patterns with the aid of a knife or scissors.
Pitt-Bradford's Confucius Institute scholars will teach the class. For more information or to register, contact the Division of Continuing Education at 814-362-5078 or email@example.com.
