Hoops and Hospitality

Cheer on the men's & women's basketball teams as they host a doubleheader against Pitt-Greensburg in the KOA Arena in the Richard E. & Ruth McDowell Sport & Fitness Center beginning at 2 p.m. on January 18, 2025.

Join us for an information session at noon in Blaisdell Hall (across the street from the Sport & Fitness Center), followed by a campus tour with our Student Ambassadors. 

Warm up before the games with chili and snacks during an exclusive reception for you and your family.

11:30 AM – Registration/Check-in in Bromeley Theatre Lobby

Noon – Admissions Informational Session in Bromeley Theatre

12:30 PM – Campus tours with Student Ambassadors

1:30 PM – Chili Reception - Warm up from your tour and before the game with chili and snacks!

2:00 PM – Men’s Game
4:00 PM – Women’s Game

Campus visits are opportunities to visit campus in small groups, meet with an admissions counselor and take a personal tour of campus. Appointments are available most weekdays (M-F) beginning at 10 a.m.

Saturday Visits

These events are opportunities to visit campus in small groups on a Saturday and meet with an admissions counselor and take a personal tour of campus. The day begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Wick Chapel. We offer all our visitors for these events a complimentary meal in our dining hall or café immediately following the visit.

Duke Days are designed specifically for those interested in the following majors:

  • Mechanical Engineering Technology

The George B. Duke Engineering and Information Technologies Building is the home to some of our exceptional programs. This special day is a chance to talk with faculty, learn about our programs, tour our brand-new state-of-the-art building with hands-on labs and a makerspace, learn about the admission process, and have a meal in our dining hall.
