Short Bio:

I am a Christian and father of two teenagers. I was born in Richmond, VA, grew up in the Midwest, with parents that gave me an initial for my first name. Yet it was not until I was in the homestretch of earning my master's degree that I considered the ring of becoming “Dr. J.”.

My faith and education have provided a transformation for me, and I devote my life to paying that forward.
