Short Bio

Don spent 17 years at IBM working in both technical and management positions in operating systems software development. While at IBM, he distinguished himself with several formal technical and managerial awards. He came to Pitt-Bradford as the Director of CTM services and has been a faculty member, first in Business Management and later with the Computer Information Systems and Technology program. Don developed the CIS&T major in 2007-2008. The program has grown to be one of the most successful on campus. Don has taught the Capstone course in CIS&T, Digital Forensics, Project Management, Supply Chain, and  Business Information Systems.

Don lives with his wife Judy in his home town of Olean, NY. They have three grown daughters and a grandson.

Research, Accomplishments, and Publications

Don is the recipient of the Pitt-Bradford Chair's Teaching award as well as the Pitt-Bradford Alumni Association Teaching Excellence Award. His current teaching and research interests center around the most widely accepted business ERP software product called SAP. Don has been integrating the product into the courses he teaches.
