Message from Interim President Esch January 19, 2022

Dear resident students,

Many of you are experiencing delays in getting Quest COVID-19 test kits and results. Therefore, while you still need to order and take a post-arrival test, you do not need to have the test result before attending in-person classes on Jan. 24. 

I know these testing delays have been stressful for many of you, and I hope this will give you some relief as you prepare to return to the classroom next week.

Please keep in mind that this change does not affect the mandatory weekly COVID-19 testing requirement for those of you who have received an exemption from vaccination.

If you are unvaccinated, you will need to continue to order and complete your weekly Quest test kit. If you have ordered your post-arrival test this week, this will count as your testing requirement for the week. You do not need to order an additional one.

To avoid any disruptions in your testing schedule, I encourage you to order two kits each Monday, which will give you an extra test kit in case you need it, then drop off your completed test kit before noon on Monday in the container next to the Information Desk in the Commons.
