Susan Schenfield is enters her 11th season as head coach for the men’s and women's tennis teams at Pitt-Bradford. She started both programs in 2008.
Schenfield is professionally ranked with Professional Tennis Registry.
Her players have excelled both on and off the court. Both teams have finished with the highest GPA among all the University athletic teams. She has coached a male Rookie of the Year and had both a male and female player named Pitt-Bradford Scholar Athlete of the Year. Schenfield also has had 8 players receive Pitt-Bradford's Triangle of Success honor, which recognizes student-athletes each year who exhibit the following attributes: dedication to their sport, positive attitude, athletic ability, citizenship, character, leadership and sportsmanship.
Previously Schenfield was the tennis coach at Bradford Area High School, tennis pro at St. Bonaventure University Fitness Center and at Chautauqua Institution. She also serves as a lecturer of health and physical education at Pitt-Bradford.
