Join us for a three-part hybrid summer book discussion on Robin Wall Kimmerer's Braiding Sweetgrass. In preparation for the author's visit to Pitt-Bradford in March 2025, we hope this book discussion will inspire and encourage the campus and community to engage with Kimmerer's topics.

The hybrid book discussion series will be divided into three sessions. Discussions will be held in the Hanley Library, Osborne Room on the second floor, and online through Zoom.

We hope this series will support faculty interest in incorporating it into classes and provide an opportunity for the campus and community to learn more about related subjects, including Indigenous cultures, Native arts and crafts, storytelling, language, botany, and the craft of writing. If you cannot participate in the summer book discussion, we encourage you to join us for upcoming events in fall 2024 and spring 2025, including talks, panels, films, arts and crafts, and hands-on learning experiences.

Books will be available in the bookstore starting June 17
