Short Bio

Courtney Mealy has 15 years' experiences in the creative sector of higher education and community engagement. Prior to joining Pitt-Bradford Arts, Courtney served as the Associate Director for the Tri-County Arts Council in Olean NY. In her tenure, she managed multiple grant-giving programs awarding $800,000 to non-profit organizations and artists in the WNY region. Additionally, Courtney curated three galleries, developed community engagement programs, and facilitated resource development initiatives. Courtney also previously served as the Arts Education Assistant at the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts at Saint Bonaventure University.

As an artist, Courtney is inspired by the way the arts can play a role in community and personal development. In her free time, she can be found volunteering for local organizations, teaching art classes and participating on the boards for the Era's Less Fortunate (ELF) Fund, Leadership McKean and Rising Leaders of Bradford PA. Proud parents, Courtney and her husband Scott, welcomed a son in 2020.
