Donor Recognition

It’s no secret that a college education is costly. We want to make it as affordable as possible, and one way to do that is to provide ample scholarships for our students. Nearly all of the students who apply for financial aid -- 94% -- receive some kind of assistance through scholarships, grants, loans, work-study, or undergraduate research funds. Endowed scholarships provide a means to help serve the needs of students and their families.

More than 215 endowed and annual donor scholarship funds provide an essential complement to other forms of financial aid. Scholarship awards help decrease the amount students would otherwise need to borrow. A total of 824,473.00 was awarded in the 2022-23 academic year, helping to ease the financial burden for students at Pitt-Bradford. The money from donor scholarships is truly a gift to our students and an investment in their future.

Distinguished scholarships are those that are endowed and are equal to or more than $100,000.
