Short Bio

As the director of the energy institute, Matt is responsible for working with the different sectors of the energy industry to develop partnerships such as internships for energy students. Matt also works with the Division of Continuing Education and Regional Development as well as facilities management to make the campus more energy efficient.

Matt is originally from Canton, Ohio and has had an interest in science from an early age. His interest in energy was sparked during his middle school years.
