One World Cultural Festival

A long-standing tradition at Pitt-Bradford, the festival celebrates the many cultures represented by the Pitt-Bradford student body, faculty and staff.
The One World Cultural Festival will occur on Saturday, February 22, 2025! This year, we celebrate the theme of "Heritage and Roots: Exploring Ancestral Traditions, Crafts, and Storytelling," marking an incredible 25 years of this vibrant festival on our campus.
We are thrilled to welcome our leading performer, Sukanya Burman Dance from Jamestown, who will present an extraordinary show titled "The Bayadere - Past, Present and Future." This performance will beautifully bridge tradition and innovation through the lens of Bharatanatyam, an Indian classical dance form.” (Sukanya Burman).
We will have our festival in the Commons and University Room following the workshop, starting at 5 p.m. Various activities will be held, such as student club tabling, basket weaving, henna designs, delicious ethnic food, dance performances from our group Diamond Steppers, music, and much more.
We encourage you to join us for this enriching celebration of culture and community!
