Interdisciplinary Arts - BA

Turn your passion for art, music, theater or writing into a career in which you create, investigate, problem solve, perform and critique.

Why study interdisciplinary arts at Pitt-Bradford?

The goal of the Interdisciplinary Arts major is to produce individuals who are deeply arts-aware; who create, investigate, problem-solve, perform, and critique effectively; who have insight into the ways that the arts define, sustain, and depend upon society; and who can communicate ideas and opinions about the arts. Students are prepared to negotiate between a variety of fields in the arts.

What will I learn?

The Interdisciplinary Arts major at Pitt-Bradford provides students with a cross-curricular education in the arts that emphasizes creative problem solving and investigation. The program explores thematic relationships between the fine and performing arts through a combination of theoretical inquiry and experiential learning.
