Clark promoted to chief of staff

Previously served as executive assistant to president

In addition to getting a new president, Dr. Catherine Koverola, this summer, Pitt-Bradford has a new chief of staff and new management for its campus store, the Panther Shop.

Koverola came aboard as president of Pitt-Bradford and Pitt-Titusville on June 1. In July, she announced the appointment of Christy Clark as her chief of staff.

Since 2015, Clark has served as executive assistant to the president, Title IX liaison and affirmative action officer. In her new role, she will oversee all administrative and operational functions of the Office of the President, Title IX and affirmative action as well as support the activities of the campus's Advisory Board.

Additionally, Clark will provide executive leadership and strategic administrative support toward the implementation of the campus's strategic plan. The campus will undertake its strategic planning process for the next five years this fall as well.

Prior to joining Pitt-Bradford, Clark served as the executive assistant to the president and chief executive officer of Upper Allegheny Health System.

In other personnel changes, Ray Geary retired as the executive director of the Office of Continuing Education and Regional Development in July. Rhett Kennedy, director of auxiliary services, was named the interim director.

The Follett Higher Education Group has taken over operation of the Panther Shop on the Bradford campus and an online store for the Titusville campus.
