Tai Chi for Everyone will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. every Monday from Jan. 25 through April 11 in the fifth-floor ballroom of the Seneca Building at 2 Main St. in Bradford. The cost to participate is $59. Tai Chi has gentle stretching and circular movements, integrates the body and mind, and has many different forms. Previous students are welcome to attend for a refresher and advanced instruction. Participants should wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and soft-soled shoes.
On March 2, Calligraphy Basics for Adult and Youth will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the first-floor art room. The cost is $15. Participants will learn calligraphy basics for letters and numbers: pen angle, letter slant, size and spacing. All materials will be provided.
Origami and Paper Cutting for Adult and Youth will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. March 30 and April 6 in the first-floor art room of the Seneca Building. Learn the basics of origami paper folding and traditional Chinese paper cutting. The $29 cost includes all materials.
This year's Confucius Scholars are Mandy Guo and Sally Gou from Beijing Normal University.
