Cookout in the Quad set for July 17
Community, faculty, staff, students, retirees and alumni welcome
The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will hold its third annual Cookout in the Quad for members of the community from 5 to 7 p.m. July 17 in the Bromeley Quadrangle on campus.
This new tradition was initiated in 2022 to welcome the community back to campus following the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event includes a complimentary cookout, tours of campus and a chance to win Pitt-Bradford prizes.
“We have had such a great response from area residents the past two years, that we wanted to keep this event going,” said Rick Esch, president.
“It’s a beautiful time of year on campus, and we’re eager to spend time with old friends and introduce new ones to all we have to offer.”
In the event of rain, the cookout will be held in the Mukaiyama University Room of the Frame-Westerberg Commons.
