Health careers job fair set for Feb. 4

Vendors include nursing homes, hospitals and agencies

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will hold a Health Careers Job Fair Feb. 4 on campus.

Representatives of sixteen organizations will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Mukaiyama University Room in the Frame-Westerberg Commons. Attendees are encouraged to bring copies of their resume and dress in business attire. The event is free and open to the public.

Attendees can learn about summer, part-time and full-time employment as well as internship and volunteer opportunities from area hospitals, medical centers, nursing homes, mental health, rehabilitation and social service organizations.

Agencies expected to participate are Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services, Aveanna Healthcare, Bradford Ecumenical Home, Bradford Manor, Bradford Regional Medical Center, DaVita Kidney Care, Intandem, Journey Health System, Lutheran Home of Kane, Olean General Hospital, Penn Highlands Healthcare, Sena Kean Manor, SCI Forest Department of Corrections, U.S. Army Health Care, UPMC and Warren State Hospital. The fair is sponsored by the Office of Career Services, department of nursing and Student Nurse Organization. This is the 16th year Pitt-Bradford has held a career fair specifically for health professions.
