Mukerjee, 15 other faculty members recognized for service

Pitt-Bradford recently recognized 16 members of the faculty who are celebrating service anniversaries.

Dr. Gautam Mukerjee, associate professor of economics, was honored for 30 years of service. He is the director of the economics program and teaches macroeconomics, Money and Banking, Statistical Methods, Comparative Economic Systems, Labor Economics, and Poverty and Society. He was the 2006 recipient of the Pitt-Bradford Alumni Association’s Teaching Excellence Award and earned his doctorate in economics from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Marietta A. Frank, interim director of the Hanley Library, was honored for 25 years. She has written and made presentations on children’s literature and holds a Master of Arts degree in the subject from Hollins University. She oversees the library staff and assists students with their research.

Honored for 20 years was Dr. Carys Evans-Corrales, professor of Spanish, who teaches Spanish, literature and translation.

Those honored for 15 years of service were Dr. Mary N. Mulcahy, associate professor of biology; Dr. Donald I. Ulin, associate professor of English; and Dr. Lauren E. Yaich, associate professor of biology.

Honored for 10 years of service were Mary A. Dinger, instructor of nursing; Dr. Tammy M. Haley, assistant professor of nursing; Jason E. Honeck, assistant professor of sports medicine; and Dr. Keary J. Rouff, assistant professor of sport and recreation management.

Lastly, faculty honored for five years of service were Kristin A. Asinger, director of international services and study abroad; Dr. Vaughn L. Bicehouse, assistant professor of education; Dr. Wayne J. Brinda, assistant professor of education; Ernest D. Kallenbach, assistant professor of accounting; Dr. Om V. Singh, assistant professor of biology; and Dr. Ye “Ken” Wang, assistant professor of computer information systems and technology.
