New dining option available at Pitt-Bradford this fall

Pitt-Bradford campus dwellers will have a new dining option this fall, the tentatively titled Intermetzo Express!, to be located in the Satterwhite Lobby of Hanley Library.

Intermetzo Express! will serve coffee, cappuccino, pastries, grab-and-go salads, fresh fruit, sandwiches and wraps from 8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. Other items for sale will include bottled juices, teas and water.

“We’ve had a request from the students to have another location on campus to provide another option for dining,” said Dan Howard, general manager of dining services. “In the past, when the Frame-Westerberg Commons was being remodeled, there was a similar set-up in this location, and it went over very well.

“We think this is a good location and will be well-received.”

Intermetzo Express! is scheduled to open for the first week of Fall Term classes, which begin Aug. 29.
