Pitt-Bradford hosts Night at the Ballpark

In conjunction with the Olean Oilers, Pitt-Bradford will host a Night at the Ballpark event on Saturday, June 23, at Bradner Stadium.

OLEAN, N.Y. - In conjunction with the Olean Oilers, Pitt-Bradford will host a Night at the Ballpark event on Saturday, June 23, at Bradner Stadium.

Pitt-Bradford faculty, staff, coaches, students - including Panthers working summer internships with the Oilers - will be on hand to greet all interested in learning about the university, particularly athletics, sport and recreation management and hospitality management.

The Panther mascot will be on hand and available for photos before the game.

Head Baseball Coach and former professional pitcher Zach Foster will throw out the first pitch and Pitt-Bradford admissions counselor Bill O'Connell will sing the National Anthem.

The first 480 fans to try the Pitt-Bradford lollipop tree will win shirts, cups or bags.

Tickets are $3 each or two for $5. Admission is free for kids 17 and under.

Gates for the 6 p.m. contest will open an hour early at 5 p.m.

The Olean Oilers are a summer development baseball team assembled of collegiate players from all over the country. The Oilers compete in the New York Collegiate Baseball League.

Olean will play host to the Wellsville Nitros.
