‘The Pout-Pout Fish’ will come to life in Bromeley Family Theater
Pre-show pajama party planned for 7 p.m. performance
The children’s underwater adventure “The Pout-Pout Fish” take the stage at the Bromeley Family Theater at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford on Oct. 18.
Shows will take place at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for all seats through the Bromeley Family Theater Box Office.
Brought to life by the acclaimed TheaterworksUSA, this charming musical production will has a whimsical story, catchy songs, and vibrant characters based on the popular children’s book by Deborah Diesen.
“The Pout-Pout Fish” tells the heartwarming and hilarious story of Mr. Fish, a fish with a frown who sets out on a quest to find Miss Clam’s missing pearl. Along the way, he learns the power of positivity and how to turn a pout into a smile.
Brightly colored large-scale puppets will perform a score with sea chanteys, Latin rhythms and jazz.
Audience members for the 7 p.m. show are encouraged to arrive early for a Pajama Party at 6 p.m. with art activities before the main show. Show tickets needed to attend pre-show.
