Sixteen staff members honored for years of service

Pitt-Bradford honored 16 staff members with service anniversaries at a dinner held Thursday evening.

Pitt-Bradford honored 16 staff members with service anniversaries at a dinner held Thursday evening.

Peter J. Buchheit, director of facilities management and one of the longest-serving members of the Pitt-Bradford staff, was recognized for 35 years of service. In 2008, Buchheit was chosen by then-chancellor of the University of Pittsburgh, Mark Nordenberg, as a recipient of the Chancellor’s Award for Staff Excellence in Service to the Community.

William E. Kline, director of desktop/user services, was recognized for 30 years of service. He operates the daily operations of Computer, Telecommunications and Media Services at Pitt-Bradford.

Recognized for 25 years of service was Robert C. Dilks Jr., director of transfer and nontraditional student recruitment. Dilks lives in Warren with his wife, Jennifer, and two daughters.

Those recognized for 15 years of service were Patricia M. Colosimo, coordinator of arts programming; Robert J. Ellison, systems architect; Christina L. Graham, director of student activities; Melissa J. Ibañez, director of financial aid; Alexander P. Nazemetz, director of admissions; Leslie L. Rhinehart, director of counseling services; and Gerry M. Vogt, enrollment services assistant.

Employees recognized for 10 years were Robert E. Harris, maintenance worker II; Angela R. Honeck, head athletic trainer; Denise D. Perkins, administrative assistant for residential life and housing; Amy L. Ward, web manager; and Deborah A. Woodley, assistant director of financial aid.

Jackie M. Bosworth, administrative assistant for facilities management, was honored for five years of service.
