Pitt-Bradford’s Sustainability Committee is sponsoring a poster and video competition for students in honor of Earth Day.

For the video competition, students have the chance to win $300 in prizes by creating a video with the theme “Blue, Gold and Green.” Videos should be 60 seconds or less and uploaded to YouTube by April 17. Submit the video link to Dr. Matthew Kropf, director of the American Refining Group/Harry R. Halloran Jr. Energy Institute, at mmk230@pitt.edu.

Posters should be submitted electronically to Kropf in an 11-inch by 7-inch printable format of at least 300 dpi.

A panel of judges will select winners, which will be announced at an Earth Day picnic planned from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 22 in the Mukaiyama University Room. In addition to the announcement of winners, the picnic will showcase students’ Earth Day efforts.

The Sustainability Committee is a group of faculty and staff that focuses on sustainability and conservation measures on campus. For more information, contact Kropf.
