Vocal ensemble to sing seasonal program
The Vocal Arts Ensemble will present its holiday concert at noon Dec. 4 in the Studio Theater of Blaisdell Hall.

The program is free and open to the public, and a light lunch will be served.
The program, “Leaves That All Were Green,” named for the Simon and Garfunkel song of the same title.
“We're doing a program of pieces inspired by the changing seasons and the arrival of winter and the holidays,” said Dr. Joshua Groffman, assistant professor of music and director of the ensemble.
Along with the Simon and Garfunkel piece, students will perform “My Favorite Things,” “The Holly and the Ivy” and other traditional contemporary favorites. The concert will close with a selection of carols.
A vocal solo will be performed by Katey Pacific, a radiological science major from Wellsboro. Piano accompaniment is by Hannah Hibbs, a nursing major from Middleburg. Other students in the group are Patrouious Achatz, an interdisciplinary arts major from Pittsburgh; Jenna Balestrieri, a criminal justice major from Breinigsville; Jahmaal Buckley, a nursing student from Wyncotte; Whitney Colosimo, a biology major from Warren;
Nadia Falcone, an exchange student from Heilbronn University in Germany; Caitlyn Hill, a pre-occupational therapy student from Ocean, N.J.; Kendra Hubler, an interdisciplinary arts major from Little Genesee, N.Y.; Austin Persing, a criminal justice major from Bradford; Ethan Schmidt, an undeclared student from Vinton, Va.; Samantha Stolz, an accounting student from Sheffield; Aaron Suranofsky, a biology education major from Johnsonburg; and Simone Williams, a biology major from Suitland, Md.
