A new scholarship in memory of a longtime Bradford veterinarian will benefit students in the health sciences, particularly veterinary medicine.

Howell to serve as executive associate to president

Dr. Tracee Howell has joined the Pitt-Bradford’s Office of the President as the executive associate to President Livingston Alexander. As executive associate, she will work at the president’s direction to oversee and support various university projects and programs; she will also serve as the officer responsible for compliance with institutional affirmative action policies and procedures.

Dr. Lisa Fiorentino new director of the Center for Rural Health

Dr. Lisa Fiorentino, associate professor of nursing, has been named the director for the Center for Rural Health Practice at Pitt-Bradford, which will enable the center and the nursing program to collaborate on projects.

Minard Run Oil contributes to dual enrollment programs

Minard Run Oil Co. has made a $25,000 contribution to Pitt-Bradford that will allow more high school students to take advantage of a program that allows them to earn college credit at minimal cost.

Campus triples Internet capacity through state-wide consortium

Pitt-Bradford has tripled its Internet capacity through the efforts of a technology consortium of universities called the Keystone Initiative for Network Education and Research.
